Hi! Nice to meet you

As a photographer, designer, and art director, Jane’s favorite medium of expression is visual storytelling. Her creative journey began at Columbia University where she started practicing documentary and lifestyle photography, and worked at the photography darkroom (her happy place!). She’s since been telling stories [via both video and stills] in the arts and culture world, and happenings in the beauty and fashion space with brands like Haus Labs by Lady Gaga and Chop Suey Club.
Having grown up in Hong Kong Jane strives to uplift stories about heritage and legacy in everything she does. She is a co-lead of the AANHPI affinity group at work. She has contributed to publications such as New York Magazine and currently makes compelling stories for brands at Ogilvy.
She studied photography at the School of Arts, Columbia University, and holds a bachelor’s degree with departmental distinction from the Barnard College Cognitive Science department. Her senior thesis was on the topic of curiosity.
In her free time she does her best to live by her personal rule of trying something new every week. Depending on the day you'll likely find her sipping a decaf oat latte or an iced matcha. She is a self-sustaining aquarium enthusiast and misses her uncle’s dachshund BB and parent’s cat Gus very much.
